So here is the first squad painted. I like how they came out. I may post a step-by-step with the colors I used. The color that really broght them together was the silver. It is boltgun metal then washed with devlan mud. I like how the color came out.
After putting together 10 wyches in the standard way, I decided to try some different poses. I pinned them with some nickel titanium orthodontic wire. I like the poses. You may notice some magnets on the special weapon models as well.
Love the paint scheme. It's a lot different than your eldar. What is the other weapon option for the wyche with the spiky forearms?
ReplyDeleteThose are Hydra Gauntlets. You roll D6 attacks + charging, two weapons etc. Slice and dice.
ReplyDeleteFantastic paint scheme and job! I LOVE your wyche poses, they look very dynamic(as real close combat units should).
ReplyDeleteNice seeing you active again mate, looking forward to more articles.

Wow! I love the dynamically posed wyches. I'm putting together my first Dark Eldar army and I've got some Hexatrix Bloodbrides (4 in a Venom to transport my Succubus into combat and give her some backup), and I was wondering how I was going to distinguish them from my regular Wyches - and now I know!
ReplyDeletePS Great blog!
